| September 07, 1915 to November 28, 2003 Lela P. Murphy, 88, passed away on November 28th, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Born Lela Pearl Goff on September 7th, 1915 in Easton, PA; to James and Pearl Goff. Lela lived most of her life in Delaware County, PA. She married Harry Murphy in 1937 and taught elementary school in Chichester Township. Lela and her family moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1974, where she was active in church work, teaching Sunday School and serving as church pianist. Lela will be deeply, lovingly missed by her daughter Loreen Morris of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandson Robert Morris of Sunnyvale, CA; granddaughter Jennifer Hall, husband Darin and family of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Arkansas. and nephew Paul Melton Jr; wife Pat and family of Linwood, PA. She was preceded in by her parents, uncle I. I. Barto, sister Jaima Melton and husband Paul, and her loving husband of 62 years, Harry. She has requested there be no public funeral arrangements or flowers. Donations can be made in her name to the charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
