Richard Needham, 96, passed away at home peacefully Saturday, November 13, 2004 with his family and friends at his side. He was born August 5, 1908 in Bonanza, Arkansas to William and Vivian Needham. His passing follows his wife Ila Mae of 66 years and 2 grandchildren. They moved from Downey, California to Lake Havasu City in 1985 to join their 2 children. He enjoyed his family most of all and had several hobbies such as wood crafting and his music room. He was very involved in Southern Baptist Church almost his whole life along with his wife. Richard is survived by his daughter Margie Snyder and husband Denny of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Dave Needham and wife Sarah of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Danny (Sue) Snyder, Dave (Kelly) Needham Jr; Denise Snyder, Rick (Lisa) Needham, Sue (Bob) Hannegan, Craig (Rachael) Snyder, Dennis Snyder, 14 great grandchildren, Candy Arnold, Lissa Needham, Trisha (Steve) Skervin, Stephanie (Chris) DeVore, Marshall (Christy) Gremard Jr; Stacy (Hank) Vellejo, Leslie (Mark) Marsh, Richard Needham, Jenna Rose Needham, Matt (Shannie) Snyder, Denny Snyder, Jerome Snyder, Javen Snyder, Baby Needham, and 11 great great grandchildren, Steven Needham, Brittany DeVore, Heather DeVore, Ryley Gremard, Kyle Marsh, Steven Skervin, Loren Needham, Denny Snyder, Cody Bond, Natiley Arnold and Zachary Vellejo. A visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, 1:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2004. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O Box 597, Lake Havsu City, AZ; 86405. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
