James "Jim" Russell Paisley March 8, 1925 - Oct. 7, 2008 Wednesday, October 15, 2008 12:04 PM MST James "Jim" Russell Paisley Jr; 83, passed away Tuesday at the Polidori House in Lake Havasu City. He was born March 8, 1925, in Corry, Pa., to James R. Paisley Sr; and Katherine V. (Cook) Paisley. Jim moved to Lake Havasu City 33 years ago from Billerica, Mass. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 years, serving in WWII, Korean Conflict. Jim was a Master Sergeant for the U.S. Army and retired in 1969 from White Sands Missile Range, N.M. He worked at Havasu Lanes for 10 years and bowled on the Thursday night construction league for more than 30 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean Elizabeth Paisley; sons, James Russell Paisley III (Tammy), of Lake Havasu City and Scott Richard Paisley, of Rockaway Beach, Mo.; daughters, Bonnie Jeanne (Bill Scott) Paisley, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Kathy Pampina, of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A graveside inurnment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Monday, at 8:30 a.m. Military honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81.
