Bertha Mae Hale died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at the Court in Sun City West. Bertha was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Lincoln County, Tenn., the daughter of William and Myrtle (Moore) Tipton.

Bertha moved to Prescott in 1943. She was a graduate of Arizona State College in 1950 with a BS in Home Economics and later earned her MS in Home Economics in 1960 from Arizona State University.

Berth is survived by Frank, her husband of 64 years; Richard, her son; ynn Shauinger, her daughter.

Private family burial was at Mountain View Cemetery.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Wakelin Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

Bertha Mae Hale died Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Court in Sun City West, Ariz. Bertha was born February 2, 1924, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, daughter of William and Myrtle (Moore) Tipton.

Bertha moved to Prescott, Ariz. in 1943. She was a graduate of Arizona State College in 1950 with a BS in Home Economics and later earned her MS in Home Economics in 1960 from Arizona State University.

Bertha was living in Wickenburg for her health.

Bertha is survived by Frank, her husband of 64 years, Richard her son, Lynn Shauinger her daughter, grandchildren, Maria, Lisa, Christopher, Michael, Jacob and Isabelle, great grandchildren, Teale, Kyle and Matthew, her sisters, Leena Lewis, Ruth Taylor, Margaret Woodby, Bessie Hawkins, Rosemary Gouge, Barbara Brown and her brothers, Donald Tipton, Alvin Tipton, Doyle Tipton, and Ronny Tipton.

Private family burial was held at Mountain View Cemetery.
