Kerry Douglas Speers, 48, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on May 5, 1958 in Dayton, OH. Kerry moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 10 years ago from Pomona, CA. He worked as a tool and die maker for 30 years and was employed by Dayton Superior in Parker, AZ. Kerry was a member of the Eagles Aerie 4299 and enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, the outdoors, working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. He was a father, teacher, mentor friend and wonderful son and husband. Kerry is survived by his loving wife Nancy Speers, son Jeremy M. Speers of Hanford, CA; father, Kerry C. Speers of Lake Havasu City, AZ; mother Billie J. Speers of Ashlan, KY; step-sons Anthony R. Lovato of Las Vegas, NV; Charles A. Logan of Camarillo, CA; brother Paul Edward Speers of Conway, Ark; sister Pamela Sue Guyton of Banning, CA; and 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 from 6 – 8 pm. A viewing on Thursday, June 8, 2006 will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel at 8 am with funeral services to follow at 9 am. Burial will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. The family request donations be made in Kerry's name to the Eagles Aerie 4299, 5161 Marlboro Dr; Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403.
