| Richard (Rick) D. Spencer, born January 12, 1956, died suddenly on February 18, 2005. He was a resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ; since 2003. Prior to moving to Arizona, he was a long time resident of Simi Valley, CA. Rick was the owner of Rush Coat Finishing in Chatsworth, CA; for 25 years. He was a graduate of Grant High School in Van Nuys, CA; class of 1974. Rick is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Cathy of more than 30 years, sons Jason (JT) age 27 and Justin age 22, granddaughters Alexis Syanne age 6, Brielle Caylin age 3 and grandson Trent Durbin 2 weeks old. He also leaves behind his parents Robert (Bob) and Shirley Spencer of Tehachapi, CA; brothers Robert (Bob) Jr., of Portland, OR and Kelly of Acton, CA. Rick lived life to the fullest He enjoyed many things, but most of all his love of family, friends and music. His drums, golf and fishing gave him peace. He was the life of the party everywhere he went and was every ones friend. He will be forever loved and missed every day. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Carol Sheffield officiating. Donations may be made in Rick's name to Keep Havasu Beautiful.
