Madelyn J. Spitz

Madelyn J. Spitz, 57, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at their home in Lake Havasu City, AZ; surrounded by her family. She was born on June 25, 1947 in Gadsden, AL.

Madelyn moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 years ago from Redlands, CA. Madelyn worked as an Administrative Operations Coordinator in public safety for the Ontario Police Dept. in Ontario, CA. She loved to crochet and won many awards crocheting. She also enjoyed traveling and walking on the beach on a stormy day.

Madelyn is survived by her loving husband Ted Spitz, who she married on May 19, 1967; son Craig Spitz and wife Tonya of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter Debra Lundberg and husband Brian of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brothers John Isbell, David Isbell of West Covina, CA; sister Nancy Lefler of West Covina, CA; and grandchildren Jacob, Brandon, Amanda and Christian.

Madelyn loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Carol Sheffield will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Madelyn's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86405.
