Eugenia Rose Sykes (Jeanne) 84, died April 28, 2004 at Jasmine House of natural causes. Born November 2, 1919 in San Francisco, California, she moved to Lake Havasu in 1978. Jeanne was a former professional dancer and dance instructor. Jeanne also was an Avon Cosmetics distributor who worked more than 25 years for the company. Jeanne was a resident of Bisbee, Arizona for many years. She later moved to Los Angeles where she went to High School. Jeanne also lived in Palos Verdes, Anaheim, Mission Viejo, and California, before moving to Lake Havasu for retirement and to be close to her sister, Mary Anna Hosley. Jeanne was a member of the Lake Havasu Bridge Days Costume Group and participated in many Lake Havasu City civic events. Jeanne became a widow in 1993 when her husband of many years, Homer Melvin Sykes (Harry) passed away. She is survived by her sons Donald George Price of Livermore, California, Larry Thomas Price of Loveland, Colorado and by her daughters Sharon Marie Moon of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Patricia Diane Alfvegren of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
