Charles Sypniewski, 67, passed away on July 26th, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 7, 1940 in Chicago, IL; to Walter and Ann (Markez) Sypniewski. Chuck moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; almost 20 years ago from the Chicago area. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, from 1959 to 1961. Chuck spent most of his adult life in the in the Chicago area, working as a welder/boiler maker for U.S. Steel for 17 years, among welding/maintenance jobs. Chuck was an artisan and always had some project going. The stone wall took him 8 years, the wooden stage coach took him 2 ½ years, and the metal grinch 14 months. "A little every day, always busy", that was his motto. If you weren't sure what to think or do, he would always tell you. Chuck is survived by his son, James Sypniewski of Minooka, IL; daughters, Kathleen Hoffman Cucamonga, CA; Linda Ragsdale of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Elaine Hinton of Mentor, OH; mother, Ann Sypniewski of Homewood, IL; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Friday at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at 960 Eager Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86406 Condolences and thoughts can be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
