Jean Vassallo, 85, passed away April 25, 206 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Guisseppe and Vincenza (Amato) Pantorno on August 29, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. Jean moved to Lake Havasu 1 year ago from Queens, NY. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, the Singles Club and enjoyed going to the Senior Center. Jean is survived by her beloved family, son, Charles (Gina) DiBella of Lake Havasu; daughters, Linda Vassallo of Middle Village, NY and Nanette (Richard Turner) Vassallo of West Hempstead, NY; brother Salvatore (Joan) Pantorno of Port Jefferson, NY; sister, Rose Torchio of Toms River, NJ; six grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Michael Turner, Kimberly, Malissa, Vincent DiBella and two great grandchildren, Brianna DiBella and Madison Hernandez, daughter of Malissa and Alfred Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Anthony Vassallo, the love of her life. Visitations will be held Thursday, April 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday, April 28, 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Rosary will be held Friday at 3:00 pm followed by the funeral services at 3:30, all to be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Deacon Tom Coe will conduct the services. The family has requested donations be made to Meals on Wheels, 450 S. Acoma Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.
