Maurice Earl Willett

Maurice Earl Willett 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on November 22nd, 2002. He was born on September 22nd, 1933 in Mayfield, Kentucky to Louis and Marinola "Elder" Willett.

Mauirce work for Sears-Roebuck as manager for the automotive center in Montclair, California for 27 years. He is a proud veteran serving in the US Navy. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 15 years ago from Orange County, California. Maurice is a member of the American Legion, B.P.O.E. #2399, London Bridge Golf Club, past chairman of the Planning and Zoning of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and he ran for city council this year.

Maurice is survived by his loving wife Margaret Willett of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, sons Michael L. Willett of Murrieta, California, Joseph E. Willett of Benton, Arkansas, James E. Willett of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, daughter Kathryn Ann Willett of Costa Mesa, California, 8 grandchildren, Timothy Michael, Sandra Marie, Katie Virginia, Brent Albert, Brian Louis, Alicia Ann, Joanne and Rose Ann.

Visitation will be held on Monday November 25th, 2002 from 6 - 8 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel, 21 Riviera Blvd. Lake Havasu City, Arizona,with a rosary being said at 7 PM. A scripture service will be held on Tuesday November 26th, 2002 at 3 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Military Honors will be provided by the V.F.W. Post #9401. Inurnment will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association 1280 S. Parker Rd. Denver, Colorado, 80231-2100.

Arrangements were made by the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
