| Robert McNeil Berrett (September 24, 1948 - June 17, 2008) Robert McNeil Berrett, 59, of Gilbert passed away June 17th 2008 at Hospice of the Valley, Mesa. A great lover of nature and travel, he was born to Daniel and Christina (Petersen) McNeil on Sept. 24, 1948 in Snowflake, the 2nd youngest of 7 children. He was adopted to Elvard and Ella Berrett of Idaho Falls at age 10. He was a kind man with a gentle heart. He loved spending time with his wife of 31 years and daughter. Robert worked in management at Gila River Casinos, Chandler. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Peggy Berrett, Gilbert, AZ; daughter Melissa Berrett, Portland, OR; sisters Velleda Solomon, Taylor, AZ and Rita Leake, Fairbanks, AK; brothers Lawrence McNeil, Show Low, AZ, Derald McNeil, Snowflake, AZ and Dennis Berrett, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jimmie Dean McNeil and Albert Jesse Reid. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday June, 21st at Black's Mortuary Chapel, Show Low, AZ.
