Sharon Virginia Bond, 60, of Phoenix, and formerly of St. Johns went home to her Father in Heaven after a fierce battle with cancer Friday, May 27, 2005. Sharon was born in Douglas, to Bryant Adams and Mary Catherine Bond June 12, 1944. After dedicating her life to her children and family, Sharon chose to devote the remainder of her life to working in the medical fiend after earning her certificate as a nursing assistant. She held many different titles but her favorite job was with Scottsdale Nephrology where her co-workers became her second family. Sharon was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Her unconditional love towards others will always serve as a shining example to all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her children Jim Hargrave (Wendy) of Mesa and Kayleen Heap-Morris (Gary) of Pinetop-Lakeside; nine grandchildren, Joseph Lee, Joshua and Shaylee Heap, Adam, Hannah, and Aaron Hargrave, and Branden, Brittney and Brenna Morris. She is also survived by her sister Altayna Willis of Manteca, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents Bryant and Mary Bond. The family would like to recognize Hospice of the Valley for the many hours of support they provided. The family asks that donations be made to either Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society. Services were held in Scottsdale and Show Low with interment in the Show Low City Cemetery. Messinger Indian School Mortuary in Scottsdale handled arrangements. (Obit: 06/03/2005 White Mountain Independent) See Also: Find A Grave |
