Lawrence Wayne Cluff (April 12, 1922 - March 27, 2008) Lawrence Wayne Cluff, 85, of Scottsdale and formerly of Lakeside, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Scottsdale Healthcare Hospital. Wayne, as he was called by family and friends, was a native of Arizona. He was born April 12, 1922, in Pima, to Lawrence William and Marvel (Boren) Cluff. Wayne was the oldest of seven children. On June 5, 1942, Wayne married Zelda Fay Inglish. Shortly after they were married, Wayne was called to serve his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. His service took him from Alaska to France and Germany. Wayne and Fay were the proud parents of two sons and a daughter, Terry of Glendale, Marsha of Scottsdale and Jeffrey of Dayton, NV. They survive him, in addition to three sisters, five grandsons, two granddaughters and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 5, in the chapel of Blacks' Mortuary, Show Low. Burial will be at Show Low Cemetery.
