Earl David Lane

Earl D. Lane, 77, died at the V.A. Hospital, Feb. 14, 1972. Born Nov. 21, 1894, at Belt, Montana, he had been a resided of Arizona for 47 years and at the time of his death was a resident of Congress.

Prior to his residency in Arizona, he had been a resident of Pomona Calif., where he had been affiliated with the Standard Oil Company for years.

During World War II, Mr. Lane was employed by the City of Wickenburg and later farmed in Peeple’s Valley. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Funeral services were today, Feb. 16, at the Veteran’s Cemetery with full military rites being accorded. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one son, William, of Lancaster, Calif., and one daughter, Mrs. Gazelle Riggins, of Cottonwood, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
