The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 18, 1972 John Anderson Boatright, 80, of 711 Dameron Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 1972, at his home. He was born Jan. 24, 1892, near Fayetteville, Ark. and came to Prescott from McAlister, Okla. in 1934. Mr. Boatright was a cement finisher for over 38 years and was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church. Surviving is his wife, Hester; two daughters, Mrs. Willie Anderson and Mrs. Jean Lay, both of Lake Havasu City; two sons, Rev. Raymond Boatright, of Norwalk, Calif., and John F. Boatright, of Lovington, N.M.; three sisters and one brother, out of state; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19 at Ruffner Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayman O. Mitchell of the Foursquare Gospel Church officiating.
