The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 23, 1972 William L. Couch, 74, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Feb. 20, 1972. Born July 4, 1897, at Paris, Mo., he came to Prescott from Los Angeles, Calif. five years ago. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Elsie, of Prescott, four daughters, Mrs. Aleine Thompson and Mrs. Anne Valencia, both of St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Virginia Fontaine of Calabasas, Calif. and Mrs. Connie Matthews, of Omaha, Neb.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Wanda Richardson, of St. Joseph, Mo. and Mrs. Jannette Robinson, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Marshall and Rick, both of St. Joseph, Mo.; three step-sons, Raymond and Glen Robirds, of Los Angeles, Calif. and Frank of Prescott; three sisters from out of state and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 24, at Veteran’s Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Veteran’s Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
