Mr. Charles B. Burns, 71, died Sunday at Whipple Veterans Administration Hospital, after a long illness. Born at Trenton, Tenn., he had resided in Arizona for 20 years 5 at Phoenix and 15 at Prescott. He had been a minister and saw filer and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include three sons, Joe of Colorado Springs, Colo., Paul of Phoenix and Lee of Glendale; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Hale and Mrs. Mona Yakovich, both of Canyon City, Colo.; twenty grand children and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel with burial following at the Veterans Administration Cemetery.

Officiating will be the Rev. Chester B. Hambyof of Phoenix.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Memory Chapel.
