Nina Lee Cook (October 14, 1929 - March 23, 2008) Nina Lee Cook, 78, of Show Low, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. Mrs. Cook was born October 14, 1929, in Cashion, Arizona, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Nina K. (Dominy) Pendergast. She was a fifth generation Arizona native. She was married to Jack Fred Cook on April 22, 1950, at Buckeye. They went from the valley to Maverick in 1957, and came to Show Low in 1963. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Dennis (Carolyn) Cook of Chandler; a daughter, Karen Hallonquist of Show Low; a brother, Adolf (Glenna) Pendergast of Palo Verde, Arizona; twelve grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Steven Cook. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 29, at Show Low Cemetery, with Minister Steve Johnson officiating. Obit: Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona See Also: Find A Grave |
