Morgan Joyce Cooper

She was born in Show Low Feb. 12, 1985 to David and Debbie Cooper. She went through the Show Low School system and graduated in May 2002.

Morgan loved her family and has been caring for her nieces and nephews during the day while preparing to go to college to become a massage therapist. Morgan was an outdoors girl and loved going camping in the mountains with her family. She enjoyed riding her four-wheeler and being with her friends. She will always be remembered for her love of children, her love of life and her free spirit. She was a member of the Show Low third Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Morgan became ill on Thanksgiving night and was diagnosed with a rare condition, which she fought right to the end.

Morgan is survived by her parents, David and Debbie Cooper of Show Low; three brothers, James (Katie) Cooper of Corvallis, Oregon, Dustin (Erin) Cooper of Campbell, California and David Cooper of Show Low; one sister, Shayla (Earnest) Hatcher of Show Low; her grandparents, William and Hazel Price of Show Low, seven nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Show Low Stake Center.

A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church.

Contributions may be made to a memorial account for Morgan Cooper that has been set up at Bank of America to help with the costs.
