Jeanine met her husband James "Jim" Cuneo while he was home on Boot leave from the Navy during World War II. They were married June 18, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana. After they were married, they moved to Michigan. Five years later they moved to Tucson so Jim could teach school and coach. In 1987 they moved to Pinetop.
