Marlin Lee Maxwell

Marlin Lee Maxwell was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Winslow to Arlee T. Maxwell and Verdie Rea Robinson. He lived in Arizona all his live.

As a young adult he worked as a meat cutter at A.J. Bayless in Phoenix for several years. He then moved back to the Show Low area where he owned and operated King's Market, then Double M Market from 1960 to 1973.

His lifelong dream of being a cowboy came true when he bought the Milky Ranch near the Petrified Forest. All of his family and friends knew how much he loved living a cowboy's life.

He is survived by his sister, Imogene Tenney Brazieal of Show Low; his children, Dennis (Denise) Maxwell of Linden, Harold (Vickie) Maxwell of Linden and Karen (James) Lambson of Chandler; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the Show Low LDS Stake Center.
