Leo Dean Seymore died June 28, 2007 in Show Low surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 14, 1929 in Show Low to the late Harl E. and Glennie (Merrill) Seymore. Dean married his loving wife Idella Penrod May 1, 1954. He and Idella have six children Linda (Darl) Hall Leo Dean Seymore died June 28, 2007 in Show Low surrounded by his loving family.of Show Low, Steve (Paula) Seymore of Taylor, Bryan (Joanie) Seymore of Prescott Valley, Patti (Ray) Johnson of Overgaard, Craig (Camille) Seymore of Queen Creek and Kevin Seymore who passed away July 4, 2004. He was the proud grandpa of 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His grandchildren loved and respected their Grandpa, affectionately known as "Pops." Each one was very special to him. He was especially proud of his great-grandchildren. He always said, "The further we went, the better they got!" Dean was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a hard worker all his life, working for Southwest Forest Industries as a manager in McNary, South Fork, Co., and Flagstaff until 1975 at which time he worked for Salt River Project in St. Johns until his retirement in 1991. Dean was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed working in the temple for 10 years. He loved Arizona's White Mountains and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
