| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, March 24, 2006 Virginia C. Erwin, 86 years of age, passed away March 22, 2006, at the Pleasant Valley Care Home in Prescott, Arizona. She was born Aug. 19, 1919, to Fred and Mintie Cherry of French, Ark. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Jack D. Erwin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles J. and Anne Erwin of Prescott, Ariz.; her grandson Jared D. Erwin of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister and brother-in-law Velma and Gari Sutherland of Cherokee Village, Ark.; and sisters-in-law Elizabeth Erwin of Mountain Home, Ark., and Betty Cherry of Yakima.Wash. A "Celebration of Life" will be held in Virginia's honor at the home of Charles and Anne Erwin, 851 Douglas Lane, Prescott, on April 9, 2006, between the hours of 2 and 6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in San Diego, Calif., at a date and time to be announced. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the charity of your choice, in her name. The Hampton Funeral Home was intrusted with the arrangements.
