| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 06/05/2009 Ira Sanchez entered into the heavenly graces of his Lord's arms May 31, 2009, at the Indian Health Service in Whiteriver. He was born March 18, 1935, in Whiteriver. He will be missed dearly by his family, relatives and friends. Ira is remembered and loved by his spouse, Christine Sanchez; brothers, Lincoln Sanchez, Calvert Sanchez, Walter Sanchez Jr.; sisters, Veda Alchesay, Blossom Birdcreek, Regina Palmer; goddaughter Ida Lee Kasey and many relatives and friends. Ira will be brought back to his home (7 W. Balsam St.) in Whiteriver for a two-night awake Friday, June 5, at 10 a.m. A celebration of his homecoming will be held Sunday, June 7, at 1 p.m. at the family residence in Whiteriver with Rev.
