Flossie (Rustin) Colelay

In loving memory of beloved mom, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend Flossie R. Colelay. She entered into rest Feb. 2, 2009, in Mesa.

She was born Feb. 22, 1938, in North Fork and resided in Whiteriver. She will be dearly missed by all.

Flossie is survived by her sons, Leroy Colelay, Gary Weiser and Kirby Kelly; daughters Christa Cooley, Theresa Montoya, Emma Marez and Mercilene Standing; sons-in-law Ramsey Cooley Sr. and Stephen Grey; daughter-in-law Diana Colelay; godchild Uneeda Way; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Williams and Maudie Rustin; husband Roy Colelay; daughter Arlene Potter; brothers Francis Rustin, Kay Rustin and Johnny Rustin; and half-sister Sarah Bead.

Flossie's body was brought back to her residence at 6711 N. First Ave. in Whiteriver for a two-night wake Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at the White Mountain Apache Baptist Church in Whiteriver with Pastor Al Campsen officiating. Interment was held at the Whiteriver Cemetery.

Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
