Vivian Rogers Anaya
(August 22, 1941 - August 21, 2008)

Vivian Rogers Anaya, 66, of Whiteriver, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, at a Mesa hospital. She was born August 21, 1941, at San Carlos, AZ, the daughter of Stanley and Happy (Adley) Rogers. She grew up and attended school at San Carlos. She had lived in Whiteriver for many years, where she worked at Odette's. She enjoyed doing bead work and was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was known as "Grandma Chile" to her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Tortice and Berta Anaya, both of Whiteriver; two sisters, Marion Pechuli and Rosie Dosela, both of San Carlos; a brother, Chesley Rogers, Sr., of San Carlos; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leroy Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 3rd at the Riverside Church in Eastfork with Vallinto Begay officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteriver Cemetery.
