The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, August 19, 2006 Keith Robert Brush, 57, died Monday evening, Aug. 14. 2006, at his home in Prescott. He was born Jan. 15. 1949, in the city of Orange, Calif. Keith grew up on the beach in Corona del Mar, Calif., and spent many of his adult years in Big Bear, Calif., where he played music and worked as a draftsman. He has been a resident of Prescott for the past 16 years. If you're a jazz lover, you have probably heard him with his band, Brushworks. Keith is survived by his loving and caring wife, Mary, and his daughter, Monica. He is also survived by his mother, Frances Eckardt of Prescott, his sister Carol Allan of Orange, Calif., and many nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his father Earl and his brother Ron. The family invites you to a Celebration of Keith's life to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at Unity Church, 145 S. Arizona St., Prescott. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends contributions be made in Keith's name to the Monica Brush Education Fund at Country Bank. A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
