Donaldson Bourke (May 5, 1959 - November 5, 2007) Donaldson "P-O-Che" Bourke, 48, of Whiteriver, passed away Monday, November 5th at a Scottsdale hospital. He was born May 5, 1959, at Phoenix, the son of Don & Annie (Alekay) Bourke. He was raised and attended school at Whiteriver. He had worked for the White Mountain Apache Tribe in their land office, Hon Dah Resort, Game & Fish, and, most recently, at Hawley Lake. He enjoyed fishing and cutting wood. He was a kind and humble person who loved his children, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the North Fork Miracle Church. Survivors include a daughter, Terrilyn Buck of Bylas, AZ; three sons, Isaac Velancia of Shiprock, NM, Christoper and Dakota Bourke, both of Whiteriver; seven sisters, Cornilia Skidmore, Thelane Albert, Clarinda Bourke, Glenna Bourke, Ophelia Woody, Annette Peshlakai and Madeline Altaha all of Whiteriver; five brothers, Ted Bourke, Sr., Don Bourke, Jr., Lysdon Bourke, Aldon Bourke and Joe Colelay, Jr., all of Whiteriver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A wake will begin at 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 16th at the residence of Annette Peshlakai at #28 West Oak Street. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, November 18th at the North Fork Miracle Church with Rev. Lex Baha officiating. Burial will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery (Obit: Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona) See Also: Find A Grave |
