Beulah Hawkins of Whiteriver went to be with the Lord April 18, 2005 in Phoenix.

She was born Feb. 12, 1946. She loved gardening. She worked for the forestry and was a firefighter. She liked to hang out with family and friends and she will be dearly missed.

Beulah is survived by her sons Leon Hawkins, Elroy Hawkins; daughters Valerie Hawkins, JoAnn Johnson, Valencia Hawkins, Martina Hawkins; sister, Trixie Begay, Virginia Montero; brother, Buster Gordon; daughter-in-law, Nita Hawkins, Charlena Hawkins; son-in-law Randy Johnson; 65 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her body will be brought home for a two-day wake at her residence Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. Rosary service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be conducted Sunday, May 1 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery in Whiteriver.

Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
