The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona - 08/26/2005 Kenneth "Butter" Nez, 45, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 20, 2005 at the Whiteriver Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1960 in Whiteriver, to Israel and Irene (Lewis) Nez. He grew up and went to school in Whiteriver and graduated in 1978. He was a US Army vet, serving in Germany. He worked for the forestry service as a technician and Earls Logging, Sunrise Auto Shop and currently was self employed as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed cooking and fishing. He referred to himself as "Mr. Mom." He is survived by his daughters Jenna Nez, Margaret Nez and Brandi Nez; sons Kevin Nez, Kenna Nez, Israel Nez and Erwin Nez, ; sister Cynthia Riley; brothers Oliver Nez, Vincent Nez, Jerome Nez, all of Whiteriver and Dennis Nez of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his parents. He will be brought home to his house for a one night wake Friday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Whiteriver Baptist Church with Reverend John Hoyt officiating. Interment will be at Whiteriver Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Black's Mortuary in Show Low. See Also: Find A Grave |
