The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona - 03/16/2007 Ruth Zahgotah of Whiteriver went home to be with the Lord March 7, 2007, in Tucson. She was born March 11, 1949, in Snowflake. Ruth was employed with Hon-Dah Casino as a housekeeper until 2006. She will be dearly missed by all. Ruth is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rafael Zahgotah; mother Louise Y. Pinal; sons Ramirez Zahgotah and Ralston Zahgotah; daughters Renelda Zahgotah, Revera Tenijenth and Renalyn Slick; son-in-laws Sgt. Rodge Tenijieth Sr. and Pascal Slick Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters Florence Colelay and Anne Oliver; sister-in-laws Edith Z. Bourke and Emma June Z. Truax; and many aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, at Renelda Zahgotah's residents, Knotts Landing No. 20, in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the White Mountain Apache Baptist Church in Whiteriver with Pastor John Hoyt officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
