Gloria (Edwards) Zahgotah

Gloria Zahgotah of Whiteriver went home to be with the Lord June 20, 2008, in Tucson. She was born June 30, 1937, in Whiteriver. She will be dearly missed by all.

Gloria is survived by sons, Wilson Zahgotah and Ernest Zahgotah; daughters Vita Ethelbah, Mollie Zahgotah, Alice Josay, Eleanor Zahgotah and Abilene Wycliffe; sons-in-law Elson Ethelbah, Mark Quay, Eugene Josay, Darryl Toggie and Nathaniel Wycliffe; daughters-in-law Debbie Paxson and Darlene Zahgotah; sisters Louise Way, Anita Cheney, Louise Pinal and Martha Moyah; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband Marion Zahgotah, father Glenzo Edwards, mother Martha Edwards, brother Randall Edwards and granddaughter Jenny Lee James.

A two-night wake will start Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at her residence 218 E. Seven Mile Junior in Whiteriver. A home services will be held Sunday, June 29, at 2 p.m. at the family residence in Whiteriver. Interment will be at Whiteriver Cemetery.

Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
