The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Renee L. (Martinez) Sanchez, born July 10, 1962, in Prescott, Ariz., went to rest in peace July 26, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz. Renee was the embodiment of love, compassion and laughter. She has such a robust passion for life. She never knew a stranger and always had a smile on her face. Renee loved all of life and lived life thoroughly to the fullest. Renee had such a love for the special needs of people and worked as a provider in the Prescott community and also in the Phoenix area for many years. Renee is survived by her loving husband, Marco Sanchez; daughters Sheri, Maree, Monique and Patricia; sons Adam, Steven and Marco Jr.; and six beautiful grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Gloria Placencia; her father, Manuel Reyes; brother Albert Placencia; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and thousands upon thousands of friends. A visitation for family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Prescott, Ariz. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2009, with burial to follow the services at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. A luncheon will follow the burial at the church. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Renee Sanchez benefit fund at Wells Fargo Bank. The family suggests wearing colorful clothing to her service on Friday to celebrate the colorful life in which she brought to each of us.
