Peggy Lillian Brown, 90, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2009, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Peggy was born on April 21, 1919, in Bournemouth, England to Fred and Marguerite (Knight) Hall.

She is survived by Jean (Art) Zeeb, Robert (Heide) Hall, Kay Hall, Richard (Denise) Walker, Irene (Ken) Brown Chaffin, Crystal (Frank) Brown Gordon and Christopher Andrew.

She was preceded in death by Cecil Andrew, infant son Peter Andrew, brother Percy Hall and husband Jim Brown.

She belonged to Westerns Daughters of the British Empire and was a member at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed dancing and dining at the Pine Cone Inn. She owned Originalities First in a log cabin on White Spar Road and then built a shop on Montezuma, selling fine English china and crystal. She sold the store and retired in 1984.

She enjoyed traveling with Jim in their motorhome and seeing friends, family and the country.

The family would like to thank Peggy's loving caregivers, Barbara, John and Geanie.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at the chapel at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank, 434 W. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ 86301.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Family Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
