The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 05/06/2005 Cora Ida Sharp of Shumway died at home May 2, 2005. She was born Feb. 11, 1910 in Amity Arizona (now known as Eagar) to Willis Austin Gibbons and Ida Wiltbank. She served for many years as a cook at the Alchesay School District, retiring in 1975. Her family of eight children, 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren survives her. Two of her children preceded her in death. Services will be held in the Love Lake Chapel Saturday, May 7 at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held at Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Paper Mill Rd. in Taylor, Friday, May 6 from 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow the services at the Shumway Cemetery in Shumway.
