The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona December 12, 1999 Juan J. Acosta Jr., 65, of Peoria, a social worker and student recruiter for Arizona State University, died Dec. 8, 1999. He was born in Peoria and was a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Jessie; daughters, Ceclia Roberts, Sylvia A. Deary, Melissa A. Northrop, Jessica Tapia and Christine Acosta; sons, John J., Mike and Nick; sisters, Delia Ochoa, Phyllis Rocha, Andrea Gregg, Luciana Gonzales, Patricia Carillo, Placida Gallegos and Ramona Ortiz; brothers, Tony Carrillo, Rudy and Rey; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation was Monday at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Services were 9 a.m. Tuesday, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 8617 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria. |
