The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Az. May 23, 1958 p.5 Funeral Tuesday For David Thomas Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Wickenburg Chapel for David. L. Thomas, Wickenburg resident for the past six and one-half years, who died in Community Hospital May 17 of a heart attack. The Rev. Bill Barker of Kingman, former pastor of the First Baptist Church here, and the Rev. R. O. Sullivan, present Baptist pastor here, conducted the services. Burial was in the Wickenburg cemetery. Mr. Thomas, who retired as a Union Pacific Railroad engineer in Evanston, Wyo., just prior to coming here, was born in Scranton, Pa., January 13, 1885. Surviving is the wife to whom he had been married for 40 years. Mrs. Thomas is a cousin of Mrs. Albert Allen and Mrs. Anna Field of Wickenburg. Her brother, Raymond E. Anthony, came from Santa Cruz, Calif., for the funeral. See Also: Find A Grave |
