The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 23, 1958 p.8 Rites Wednesday for E. H. Oldham Rev. R. O. Sullivan conducted funeral services in the Baptist Church here Wednesday for Edward H. Oldham, Yarnell resident, who died in Community Hospital Sunday afternoon. Mr. Oldham became ill last Friday evening and was admitted to the hospital Saturday morning. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Oldham was born August 3, 1891, in Cleburne, Texas. He came to Arizona 46 years ago, settling near Prescott. For 34 years he served as a forest ranger mostly in the Flagstaff area. Three and one-half years ago he and Mrs. Oldham moved to Yarnell where they produced and packaged honey. Surviving are the widow, Leolin; two daughters, Mrs. Toddy Davis of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. William Chesley of Mesa; two sons, Edward, Jr., of Mesa and Charles H. of Quartzsite; two sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Whittaker and Mrs. Lorena Valencia both of Bakersfield; three brothers, J. T. of Peoria, Ariz. George R. of Bakersfield and Claude S. of Berkley, Calif.; six grandchildren, five nephews and three nieces. See Also: Find A Grave |
