| Abran Molina Is Dead In Germany A telegram from the War department Tuesday brought to Mr. & Mrs. Ted Molina of Wickenburg the sad news of the death of their son, Pfc. Abran J. Molina, which occurred in a hospital in Germany on June 9, 1945. The message gave the bereaved parents no details. Molina, who was 38 years of age, lived in Wickenburg some 20 years and entered the service from here in January 1941. He went overseas in February of 1944 and was wounded in action on December 18, 1944, receiving the Purple Heart. Mass will be said for him this Sunday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Anthony’s church. In addition to his parents, the soldier is survived by four sisters and three brother; Mrs. Carmen Garcia and Henry Molina of Wickenburg; Mrs. Aurora Deck of Phoenix; Mrs. Libroda Kicilinski of Los Angeles; Mrs. Juanita Cassillas and Ted Molina, Jr. of Colton, Calif., and Alfred F. Abran J. Molina, Wickenburg soldier who died June 9, 1945, while serving with the Army of Occupation in Germany. Services had originally been scheduled for Saturday, but the train bearing the body here was delayed in a storm. The local American Legion post conducted the military funeral held at St. Anthony's church and the burial in Wickenburg cemetery. Later Sunday afternoon the post also conducted military rites for George A. Blodgett, World War I veteran who passed away December 9 at Community Hospital here. Abran J. Molina. American Legion Kellis-Draper Post No. 12 will be in charge. Burial will be in the Wickenburg cemetery. Pfc. Molina died June 9, 1945, at the age of 38, while stationed with the Army of Occupation in Germany. He participated in five major battles. Rosary will be said Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the Wickenburg Chapel. In addition to his father, he is survived by four sisters, Aurora Huffsmith, Lebrada Dominguez, Juanita Casillas and Carman Garcia and three brothers, Henry, Ted and Alfred Molina.
