Norman Elmer SCHALK Born June 6, 1914, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2002.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruby, and son Paul.

Survived by his children, Norma, Charlotte, and John, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Norman served in the Army from 1941 - 1945 which brought him to Arizona.

After his military service he was employed as a Carpenter with Del E. Webb. He was a member of Christ Church Lutheran. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and playing cards with his friends.

Visitation Saturday, July 6, 2002, followed by funeral service at Shadow Mountain Mortuary.

Interment at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale.
