The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona - 12/01/2006 Marian (Willis) Hunt, 61, of Taylor died Nov. 25, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. Marian was a lifelong resident of the Snowflake/Taylor area. She worked for the Snowflake School District for more than 20 years and was employed by Show Low Construction at the time of her death. She had a great love for crocheting and made many afghans that will keep her loved ones warm as they remember the great lady that she was. She was an avid gardener with more than fifty rose bushes at her home. She instilled a love of sports, reading, canning and gardening to her children and grandchildren. She took great pride in being a grandmother and had a special touch in soothing her grandbabies. She is survived by her husband, Chester Hunt of Taylor; a son, Warren Willis (Kelli) of Goessell, Kansas; daughters, LaNae Willis Harding (John) of Kuna, Idaho and Carlene Willis Cluff (Larry) of Linden; her mother, Myrtle Loveless of Taylor; a sister Sharon Keith of Taylor; brothers, Ray West of Taylor and Reese Loveless of Show Low; and 24 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Marion West; her step-dad Ralph Lovelsss; a sister, Carolyn West; brother, Gayle Loveless; and a granddaughter, Laken LaNae Harding. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at the Taylor LDS Stake Center. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. one hour prior to the service.
