Lois (Shreve) Tomlinson

Lois Tomlinson, age 79, passed away on Palm Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Prescott Valley, due to a long illness. She was born November 20, 1926, in Emeron, Neb. to Arthur and Catherine (McTaggart) Shreve.

Lois graduated from Nomer High School and worked as a social worker in an oncologist's office in California.

Lois and her husband Richard, shared 43 years together and in 2003 they moved from California to Arizona.

Lois is survived by her husband, Richard; her brothers, LeRoy and Ellis Shreve; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Donna Shreve; her niece Barbara and several more nieces and nephews. Lois was loved and will be missed by all.

A gathering of family and friends in honor of Lois will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2006, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Commemoration Services in honor of Lois will be held Thursday, April 13, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will take place at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, Calif.

Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
