Pauline Gannan, 93, died Feb. 3, 2003 in Snowflake.

Pauline was born and raised near Lubbock, Texas. Her father was a farmer and there were seven children in the family. She was the last of them to pass away. She married Victor Grizzle in New Mexico. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad and they lived in Southern Arizona for many years, mostly in Dragoon, near Benson. For the past 25 years she had lived in Joseph City and Holbrook. She was a homemaker all of her life and she was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Holbrook. She enjoyed working with her hands and she worked with crafts. She also loved working in the yard and grew beautiful flowers.

She is survived by one daughter, Johnnie McDaniel of Holbrook; one son, Henry Franklin Grizzle of Bowie; eight grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 6 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Holbrook with Rev. Bob Maxey officiating. Interment will be in the Holbrook Cemetery.
