Linda L. (Belford) Phillips

Linda L. Phillips, age 58, passed away November 2, 2006, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born in Waukegan, Ill., April 9, 1948, to Donald and Ivah Belford and was raised in Illinois until moving to Arizona in 1959,

She lived in various places in Arizona before moving to Holbrook where she finished her schooling. She also completed two years of cosmetology and esthetician school.

Lynn married Dale Phillips on April 20, 1966. Together they made their home in Holbrook where they raised their three daughters. She was a very talented craft maker and love to sing. She was also a very good cook. She and Dale have enjoyed being able to travel to many places. Linda was loved by many people.

Through her treatments, she was very optimistic and help others feel encouraged.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dale Phillips of Holbrook; three daughters, Lisa (John) Jones of Goodyear, Christine (Jerry) Hall of Holbrook and Lori (Eric) words of the Chino Valley; three grandchildren, Alyssa Kester, Michael Jones and Zachary Woods; one great-grandson, Nolan Milton Kester; and two sisters, Lois (Earl) Craig of Holbrook and Charlotte (Ray) Walden of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ivah Belford and Dale's parents, Milton and Effie Phillips.

Funeral services will be private with a public graveside service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Holbrook Cemetery.

Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
