The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, May 23, 2006 Reverend Harry Henry Rappath, age 91, of Prescott, died peacefully in his home at 1350 Terrace View Drive on May 19, 2006. He was born Aug. 16, 1914 in Eden Prairie, Minn. and was the last of the five children born to William and Minnie Rappath. Reverend Rappath is survived by Evelyn, his spouse of 64 years; daughter Mary and her husband Dr. Wayne Bennett of Prescott; sons, Tom Rappath of Prescott and John Rappath and his wife Stephanie of St. Paul, Minn; grandchildren, Dr. Michael Nash and his wife Joanne of Prescott, Tim Nash of Los Angeles, Calif., David Rappath and Andrew Rappath of St. Paul, Minn., and Steven Rappath of Salt Lake City, Utah; and their great grandson Logan Nash of Prescott. Reverend Rappath was a graduate of Wartburg College and Wartburg Theological Seminary and served as a Lutheran minister for 53 years at parishes in Wisconsin, Minnesota, California, Colorado and Arizona from 1941 until his retirement at 80 in 1994. He last served at American Evangelical Lutheran Church of Prescott. Funeral Services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 2 at American Evangelical Lutheran Church of Prescott.
