| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, August 01, 2009 Joan Emberlin, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2009. She was born to Leon and Mildred Stabler on April 23, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Ind., and moved to Scottsdale, Ariz., in 1963. She later moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz. She is survived by Joseph, her husband of 61 years; three children, Timothy, Gary and Barbara; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley with services to follow. Concluding service will be at 3 p.m. in the Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Ariz. The family wishes to extend gratitude to the Hospice Family Care of Prescott's extraordinary staff and volunteers for all their help and love. Services entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
