Jeavene A. Oliver, 81, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Mountain View Manor Care Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Jan. 7, 1925, in Abraham, Utah, the daughter of Clifford and Lucille (Shields) Ashby.

Jeavene was a member of the Baptist church in Ely, Nev., for many years until she moved to the Prescott area. Jeavene enjoyed family get-togethers. She also enjoyed making photo albums for family and friends, listening to music and playing word games. Jeavene was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she loved each one very much. She loved her beloved Delmar deeply and wholeheartedly.

Jeavene is survived by her loving and caring husband of 60 years, Delmar; daughters and their spouses, Christine and Jimmy Lane of Prescott, Ariz., Melanie and Corey Lucero of Elko, Nev.; and her son and his wife, Russell and Lita Olibrt of Alturas, Calif.; brothers and sisters-m-law, Louis and Colleen Ashby of Ely, Nev., Bob and Joyce Ashby of Delta, Utah; Wilford and Ella Ashby of Ely, Nev., Ross and Alice Ashby of Austin. Texas, and Roger and Virginia Ashby of Ely, Nev. She is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Lavon and Bud Palmer of Dushene, Utah; grandchildren, Corey, Tim, Adrienne, Sharon, Robert, Ben, Aubrie and Talhan; and her great-grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Caysha, Natalie, Anthony and Shyann.

A Celebration of Jeavene's life took place on April l7 at Arizona Ruffner Wake1m Funeral Home.

Graveside services followed at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
