Funeral services for Carmen R. Cervantes will be held at 1 p.m. at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale, with interment at Green Acres Cemetery.
Carmen, 92 was born on January 7, 1914 in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away in her home in Wickenburg, AZ.

Carmen was a hard working single mother, who worked as a cook in Sterling, Ill., for 25 plus years raising her four children. She lived in Ventura, Calif., and worked as a volunteer for the Salvation Army.

She moved to Arizona in 2001, and enjoyed the Wise Owl senior center and made many friends.

She is survived by sons Raymond Cervantes of Mesa, Gene Cervantes of Casa Grande, and daughters Clara Anne Eastburn of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Herlinda Jordan of Wickenburg; also ten grandchildren, of which two are serving in the United States Air Force; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
