Jimmie Kanuho, 58, passed away Wednesday, August 27 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born September 1, 1949 in Keams Canyon, Arizona to Harvey & Jane (Bain) Kanuho.

Jimmie served his country proudly as a Marine, he defended our freedom during the Vietnam Conflict. Through everything, he always had a sense of humor. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by 5 children; Charlotte Kanuho Simpson, Nicole Kanuho, Tisheena Kanuho, Harvey Kanuho, Loretta Curley; 2 grandchildren Chenda & Austin Simpson; 2 brothers, Raymond Kanuho & Virgil Rogers; 2 sisters, Dorothy Bates and Sarah Charles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edmond Kanuho.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Holbrook Stake Center with a visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery
